SUNDAY, DAY 3: LIVE NEWS FROM THE GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED. The 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed rounded off with an epic Sunday with a jaw-dropping procession of supercars, historic race cars, an appearance by current F1 leader Lewis Hamilton and a series of historical curios and crashes to keep spectators on their toes. Sunday's highlight was the much-hyped appearance of McLaren F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
Lotus has produced the Lotus Electric City Car Concept
But now comes news that Lotus have produced an Electric City Car Concept. Just 8’6″ long and 5’3″ wide, it is a Toyota iQ type vehicle – but smaller – and has the iQ’s 3+1 interior configuration. And it’s designed to be purely an urban car – something for popping to the shops and doing local errands.

We did a piece on the Goodwood Moving Motor Show which will precede the Festival of Speed this last weekend, but it makes sense to bring you up to date with what we currently know will be happening at the FoS. The theme at this year’s Festival of Speed is ‘Viva Veloce!
